Who are we ?
SIMAM CI is a major player in the distribution of petroleum products in Côte d'Ivoire, with more than two million five hundred thousand (2,500,000) bottles in circulation. Thanks to its unique distribution strategy, bottles are supplied daily to its extensive network of depots. The company has several sites in Côte d'Ivoire and filling centers with large storage capacity, ensuring the availability of gas.
The product portfolio is aimed, on the one hand, at professionals, with B12 “industrial” gas cylinders for fuel, diesel, bulk gas, mechanical lubricants, diesel additives, and biocides, and, on the other hand, at households, with B6 and B12 “household” gas cylinders.
In order to offer customers a high level of safety, major innovations have been made to the B12 with protective sleeving, ensuring reliability, and to the B6 with a more robust blue capsule.
With more than 5,000 retailers in Côte d'Ivoire, SIMAM CI has several partners, including Ivoire Transport, a major petroleum product transporter with a fleet of more than 130 trucks, and AfriqOil, a large network of around 20 service stations where users can purchase gas cylinders.
SIMAM CI is aware of its responsibility and duty in the face of current societal and environmental challenges. As such, the company ensures respect for the environment, workplace safety, and compliance with procedures through the implementation of the ISO 9001 standard (obtained in 2023) and daily HSSE training for its teams. In addition, the company is increasing its social initiatives through funding for the ATef OMais Foundation (FATOM).
