Agboville, 23 Feb 2022 (AIP) - In the second half of 2021, 402,423 gas cylinders were sold in the department of Agboville, by the 75 depots in the district, according to a document from the Departmental Directorate of Oil and Energy, sent to AIP on Wednesday 23 February 2022.

The company Petroci has sold 47,318 cylinders, 15,523 for Petroivoire, 37,133 for Oryx and 302,449 for Simam.

"Concerning gas, the cylinders of the company SIMAM are the most sold. This is due to the fact that the company does a lot of promotion compared to the others. In the Mé region, it has sold more than four million cylinders," said the departmental director of Petroleum and Energy, Loukou Simplice.

The departmental directorate of Oil and Energy in Agboville is responsible for implementing and monitoring the general policy of the ministry. Its area of competence is composed of the departments of Agboville, Akoupé, Adzopé and Yakassé-Attobrou.
